The central section of the M12 Motorway between Cecil Park and Badgerys Creek spans over an approximate length of 7.6km and provides direct access to the planned western Sydney airport at Badgerys Creek and connect to Sydney’s motorway network.

Our scope of work:

  • Assessment of potential groundwater inflows for a major cut and various culverts.
  • Advice on floor treatment requirements for various cuts and embankments.
  • Pile inspection and certification for over 100 piles for major bridges, sign structures, street light poles and Variable Message Sign structures.
  • Bearing capacity assessment and advice on foundation treatment works for various major culvert structures and drainage lines.
  • Temporary works designs for working plants for piling and cranage works as well as for site compounds.
  • Material suitability assessments.
  • Advice on in-situ stabilisation requirements for local roads.
  • Interpretation of founding material requirements for piled foundations for various bridge structures.
  • Advice on on-site encapsulation of asbestos contaminated materials.
  • Observations of proof rolling activities.
  • Inspection of landslides affecting a major cut and advice on slope treatment works.
